Paint Protection Film
Years of Protection at an Affordable Rate
Your vehicle does get you to where you need to go; however, most still look at theirs like a valuable jewel that must be protected at all costs. While you drive down the road, does the thought of wrapping your vehicle in an invisible force field to prevent small paint chips and minor scratches sound like a dream?
Well wake up, it can be your reality with a Paint Protection Film (PPF). But what exactly is this, and how exactly does it protect your vehicle’s finish?
A paint protection film, also known as a clear bra or PPF for short, is a clear urethane barrier created to help protect the paint of a vehicle's exterior against minor abrasions, environmental stains, rock chips, and more. Traditionally, a paint protection film has self-healing properties, which are enacted after an impact takes place. And much like ceramic coatings, a paint protection film repels staining from the environment to help keep your vehicle shining bright.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PPF AND A CERAMIC COATING
Since both PPF and ceramic coatings provide protection over your vehicle's paintwork, people wonder what the functional difference is between both. Aside from the fact that one is a liquid, hydrophobic polymer applied by hand while the other is a clear film applied as a whole to your vehicle, what else separates paint protection films from ceramic coatings, and is one better than the other?
THICKNESS
A paint protection film is physically thicker than ceramic coatings. Unless you have multiple applications of a certain coating, they will always be on the thinner side. But because their main quality is to lower the daily maintenance of your vehicle and resist liquid and staining, they don’t need to be any thicker.
SELF-HEALING
A paint protection film is engineered in a way to be self-healing, in that it better defends both itself and more importantly your paint against rock chips and dings that take place while driving. A ceramic coating does not prevent damage from these occurrences
HYDROPHOBIC
This is where ceramic coating outdoes paint protection film. All ceramic coatings possess hydrophobic qualities, whereas only specific paint protection films have a hydrophobic clear coat on their surfaces to emulate what a ceramic coating can do. We can also apply a ceramic coating on top of the PPF to have the best results.
